Recently, Charles and Attorney Benjamin Cloward received a $15 million verdict for the wrongful death of a 53-year-old mentally challenged man. The verdict was for non-economic damages without asking the jury to award punitive damages. That verdict was recently confirmed by the Nevada Supreme Court. Ben and Charles also recently completed a products liability case against a walk-in tub manufacturer for $20 million.<\/p>\n

Charles is an original member of the Reptile research group. He was actively involved in research that helped develop the \u201clitigation principles.\u201d Charles has spoken to thousands of lawyers on the deposition and cross-examination techniques using rules and community safety that he learned and employed during the inception of the Reptile. Charles was one of the founders of the Reptile Deposition Seminar and Power Deposition method. Charles has continued to lecture and present to lawyers across the country on the importance of depositions, opening statements, proving causation, and trial strategy.<\/p>\n

Charles has written and lectured on the use of neuroscience when working up and executing case strategies in the area of automobile liability, trucking collisions, medical malpractice, products liability, and premise liability. He has written and spoken on how to litigate mobile home “tie-down” cases; how to depose defendant physicians and defense physician experts; how to prepare clients; how to present PowerPoint in litigation; how to evaluate malpractice and personal injury cases and how to work with your doctor expert to name a few.<\/p>\n

Charles is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Associations, American Association of Justice, and is Martindale-Hubble Peer Review Ratings-AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating in both legal ability & ethical standards.
