April is a native of Atlanta and attended Georgia State University. She graduated magna cum laude with Distinction with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
April started her career as an office assistant at the young age of 21 and decided she wanted to pursue a career as a paralegal. She now has over 20 years of experience as a paralegal working in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, business litigation, and construction litigation.
No matter the type of case, April brings her personal touch to every matter. She prides herself with her ability to form relationships with her clients to assist them through some of the most difficult times of their lives.
April has extensive trial experience and enjoys preparing cases for the courtroom. Her education in the psychology field and legal experience cross paths during the trial phase. She is passionate about using her experience to help clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
April is an avid sports fan and she is always rooting for Georgia State University, the University of Alabama, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Hawks. Her husband, Michael, is a graduate of the University of Georgia, so she begrudgingly roots for UGA too. April is active in her local community whether it be political campaigns or charity work.
She also enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and their children. Lastly, April is the proud dog mom to not one, but two crazy beagles!
